Now he is returning to a classical standard work -- solo suites by Bach. Included with the recording is a video showing beautiful gardens, decorative buildings, and figure skating performances. Yo-Yo Ma is the flagship of a marketing strategy that is led by the record company Sony Classical. Its president, Peter Gelb, systematically selects musicians he dares to revive a sluggish CD market, and success seems to prove him right.
