Steinway & Sons Plattenlabel

Steinway & Sons is a well-known piano maker, but that's not all: In 2010, Steinway established a record label in the United States, and in the summer and fall of 2012, the company started releasing CDs in Germany. Some of them are devoted to the music of one particular composer, namely Bach, Beethoven and Chopin. One CD titled "Silent Music" contains Frederic Mompou's "Musica Callada." One CD is a collection of arrangements for two pianos: "When Words Fade" includes pieces from Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" to Mozart's Papageno aria, Rachmaninoff's Vocalise, and Cold Play's "Viva la Vida." The collection also includes a CD devoted to Christmas. A wide variety ... In Germany, the piano maker Steinway uses the advertising slogan "The S-Class Among Grand Pianos," alluding to the luxury car maker Mercedes Benz. What about Steinway's CDs?
